The place is sleek and modern, offering decent breakfast options with hot choices that make mornings a bit better. It's conveniently located about 200 meters from the tram.
There's a single power socket near the desk, but it goes dead when you remove the key card. The frosted glass bathroom door doesn't provide much privacy and can be a noisy intrusion in the mornings. Adding more hangers in the room would be nice, and the towels were cheaper, thinner than expected. A solid experience, but some basic improvements could elevate it further.

a cozy base for exploring
The Ibis Muenchen City Ost was like a great starting point for our adventures. Staff were friendly, and the tram stop was just steps away.
The smoky smell around the lobby area was a constant nuisance, especially when it drifted into our bathroom. The shower design also leaked.
